Why did you choose Urbanedge to build your home?
We found that a lot of other volume builders’ designs were very similar and uninspiring.
Driving around the new growth estates we saw the same designs with minor variations over and over and we wanted something different.
On visiting the display village in Keysborough we were immediately struck by the interesting visual design of the Urbanedge display home.
Once we walked through we appreciated the well thought out spaces and luxury touches.
How was Urbanedge’s solution unique?
The facade was very modern and architectural.
The use of strong lines and projections was unlike any other builders we could find.
The entrance way and hallways were wide and spacious and the included luxury items made it affordable.
Did you make any modifications to your home?
Yes. We chose to convert the home theatre room to a guest bedroom with an ensuite.
We raised the ceilings to 2.7m, tiled the bathrooms to the ceiling, used square-set cornices throughout, installed windows as splashbacks to kitchen and WIP, used a hydronic heating system and double glazing.
What upgrades did you chose?
Higher quality underlay and carpet, vinyl wrap cupboards, a kitchen bench waterfall end, a large wall, ceiling tiles in bathrooms and frameless shower screens
What did you like most about your new home?
Moving in – and a high quality build! The build was completed early and we were able to move in for Christmas.
Also, the building supervisor showed us all the details of decisions he made to ensure a quality build.
How would you describe your experience with Urbanedge?
A fantastic result. There will likely be issues to work through and some were unexpected, in the contract stage, however, now we are in the house it was all worth it.
We have no regrets and feel very glad we chose UrbanEdge.
